Lead Service Line Initial Inventory

October 23, 2024

Our lead service line inventory may be found in the links below. We have not found any lead service lines in our system. All lines on our side of the meter are plastic, but new regulations require that we treat unknown customer lines as potential lead or galvanized requiring replacement until we confirm material composition. You can find your service line in the attached spreadsheet by searching the "Unique Service Line ID" column. Your Unique Service Line ID may be found on your bill. It is an alpha numeric identifier to the right of the word "Location" just above the usage graph. Call our office if you need assistance.

CR 2120S Water Quality Changes

October 09, 2025

Customers on CR 2120 south of Pipeline Road will experience a source water change on October 10, 2025 as we transition you from surface water to groundwater from a new well in Latexo. You can expect changes in water temperature (cooler), pressure (higher) clarity and odor. You may experience stronger than usual chlorine odor, although the chlorine concentration is well within safe limits. You may also experience cloudy water as mineral deposits are sloughed off the line with a switch to this new source. Your water will now feel slick, some report the feeling as "slimy", due to a lack of calcium or water hardness. This is a normal characteristic of soft water. We will increase flushing activities to resolve odor and turbidity issues. Please call our main number at 936-544-2986 if you have any concerns about your water quality.

HB 27 Support Needed in Senate

August 30, 2025

Other Senators need to hear from concerned East Texans. See Redtown Ranch Wellfield updates here. HB 27 passed with overwhelming bipartisan statewide support in the House, but has stalled in the Senate. This bill halts export projects in the Neches and Trinity Valledys GCD until a comprehensive, state-led hydrologic investigation is completed in the area.

East Texas Senators are already solidly behind this bill. Now we need West and Central Texas Senators to hear loud and clear that Texans expect sustainable aquifer management, not short-term profiteering.

See the list of Senators here and respectfully request their support of HB 27.

What to Say When You Call
  • "I support HB 27 because it puts science and aquifer health ahead of short-term profiteering and the commoditization of drought."
  • "Texas needs lasting water security for rural comminities, large cities and future generations - not quick fixes that drain our aquifers dry."
  • “The House passed HB 27 with overwhelming bipartisan support. The Senate should follow their lead and put Texas' water security first."
